Interpreting an Icon

Early logo explorations drew inspiration from Batman’s many eras, interpretations, and visual identities throughout the character’s history. We explored a range of directions while working to balance the LEGO and DC brand elements, ultimately searching for a mark that felt distinctly Batman while fitting naturally within the LEGO universe.
